Project Manager

Are you passionate about shaping how culture responds to the challenges of our time? ReReeti is seeking a Project Manager to help drive our initiative, Indian Museums Against Climate Change (IMACC) and other upcoming projects that strengthen the role of museums in building a sustainable and inclusive future. The role will involve working closely with the Founder-Director and Programmes & Operations Lead to manage multiple stakeholders, oversee project timelines, and contribute to in-house research, external communications and coordination efforts.

What will you do?

  1. Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities under IMACC and other projects.
  2. Liaise with museums, sector vendors, and experts to ensure smooth communication and execution of planned activities.
  3. Support the creation of outreach materials, reports, proposals, and presentations.
  4. Facilitate workshops, dialogues, and meetings (online and on-site) with partner museums and collaborators.
  5. Prepare quarterly status reports and an annual impact report.
  6. Conduct research and compile insights related to sustainability, inclusion, and community engagement.
  7. Assist in identifying partnerships, funding opportunities, and collaborations that align with ReReeti’s initiatives.

What do you need?

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in museum studies, heritage management, environmental studies, sustainability, social sciences, or related fields.
  2. Additional courses on inclusion, accessibility, and diversity are greatly encouraged.
  3. Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in cultural projects related to sustainability, inclusion, and community engagement (internships and volunteer work can be considered).
  4. Understanding of climate change, sustainability, and cultural practice in social contexts.
  5. Strong project management skills with process sheets and impact tracking mindset.
  6. Strong research and data collection skills.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Kannada or Hindi is an advantage.

Note: This position might convert into a full-time commitment in December (5 days a week), with remuneration revised accordingly.
