Museum Educator

Do you believe museums can be powerful spaces for learning, dialogue, and storytelling? We are looking for a creative and experienced Museum Educator to help bring a museum’s collections to life for the public. This role involves working closely with our volunteer programme to design and deliver guided tour content, develop accessible training materials, and craft meaningful visitor experiences. What will you do?

  1. Study the museum’s galleries and permanent collections to design accessible, visitor-friendly content.
  2. Develop training materials for volunteers, including museum history, gallery highlights, and visitor interaction talking points.
  3. Design engaging short and long-duration guided tours tailored for different visitor profiles.
  4. Design theme-based guided tours that reflect the richness and diversity of the museum’snarratives.
  5. Deliver training sessions to volunteers.
  6. Create a training report that informs the programme effectiveness and scale.


What do you need?

  1. Degree in Art History, Museum Education, Cultural Studies, or Heritage Management.
  2. Minimum 4 years of experience in museum education, visitor engagement, and learning programme design.
  3. Strong storytelling skills and the ability to craft an inclusive narrative for diverse visitors.
  4. Proficiency in English and Telugu/Urdu/Dakhni.
  5. Strong observation and report-writing skills.
